Nose Filler (Liquid Rhinoplasty) in Jacksonville, FL
A bump on the bridge in every side-profile photo, a tip that drops when you smile, a nose that looks slightly crooked. You have looked at surgery and decided it is too much, or not yet.
Nose filler in Jacksonville, FL, also called a liquid rhinoplasty or non-surgical nose job, uses a few drops of hyaluronic acid filler to straighten the bridge or lift the tip in about 30 minutes. No incisions, no splint, no time off. Dr. Olivia, DNP, APRN, places every treatment herself, and it is reversible.
What Is Nose Filler (and Why It Is Called a Liquid Rhinoplasty)
Nose filler straightens your profile in one visit, without surgery. A hyaluronic acid gel goes in tiny amounts along the bridge or under the tip. It fills the low points around a bump or supports a drooping tip, hence the names liquid rhinoplasty and non-surgical nose job.
What nose filler fixes:
- A bump on the bridge, seen in profile
- A drooping or rounded tip
- A low or flat bridge
- Mild asymmetry, or a small dent left after rhinoplasty
Nose Filler vs. Surgical Rhinoplasty
Filler adds; surgery removes. Want a smaller nose or easier breathing? That is surgery, and we will say so. Want a straighter line or a lifted tip? Filler does it in one visit, reversibly. Many patients add chin filler, since a stronger chin makes the nose look smaller.
How Nose Filler Works
A few drops of hyaluronic acid filler placed on the bone and cartilage reshape the nose immediately: the gel fills the valleys around a bump or props up a tip that has dropped. It only adds, never subtracts; Botox has no role here, and it is reversible.
Two Ways We Refine the Nose
Your chin is part of the plan. A short chin makes any nose look bigger, so Dr. Olivia may suggest chin filler in Jacksonville alongside, or instead of, nose filler.
Fillers We Offer for the Nose
The nose needs a firm gel that holds its shape and can be dissolved.

Reversible gels only. Hyaluronic acid dissolves with hyaluronidase, which we keep on hand; Sculptra and permanent fillers are never used in the nose. See all our dermal fillers in Jacksonville.
Why Jacksonville Chooses Coastal for Nose Filler
Nose filler is the least forgiving filler on the face, so the injector matters most. Coastal’s difference: who plans the shape, how slowly it goes in, and what is on hand to reverse it.
What Makes Coastal Different
- A nurse practitioner injects. Dr. Olivia, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, with a pharmacology background
- Profile first, nose second. Sometimes the honest answer is the chin
- Slow, small and checked. Tiny amounts, a blunt cannula where possible, aspiration, a mirror check every pass
- Reversible by design. Hyaluronic acid only, with hyaluronidase in the room
- 5-star rated on Google, with Cherry payment plans
Every new patient starts with a full-face evaluation. If surgery, chin filler or doing nothing would serve you better, we say so and point you to facial balancing in Jacksonville or a surgeon.
Who Nose Filler Is For
Most patients have disliked their profile for years and want “did you do something different?” not “you got a nose job.”
Sound Familiar?
- “There is a bump in every side-profile photo.”
- “My tip drops when I smile.”
- “My nose looks slightly crooked from the front.”
- “I am not ready for surgery, or want a preview first.”
Nose Filler for Men
A straight, strong bridge, placed conservatively so it never looks built up.
We Will Suggest Something Else if You
- Want a smaller nose, which only surgery can give
- Have breathing or septum problems
- Have had surgical rhinoplasty, until we review what was done (we may decline)
- Have an infection, cold sore or rosacea flare on the nose
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have had a filler complication before
Not sure? Dr. Olivia will give you a clear yes, an alternative, or an honest “not yet.”
What to Expect at Your Nose Filler Appointment
About 45 minutes door to door; injecting takes 15 to 30.

Before Your Session
We photograph your profile, review your history, mark the bridge and tip, and apply numbing cream. Skip blood thinners, fish oil and alcohol for a few days to limit bruising.

During Your Session
Dr. Olivia places tiny amounts with a blunt cannula or fine needle, aspirating first and checking the mirror between passes. The filler contains lidocaine, so you feel pressure, not pain.

Immediately After
You see the straighter line before you leave. Expect mild swelling for a day or two, keep glasses off the bridge, and go back to your day.
Most patients need well under one syringe. Event coming up? Book two weeks ahead so swelling and any touch-up are done.

Book My Free ConsultationRecovery Timeline After Nose Filler
Almost no downtime, but a few rules in the first two weeks protect the shape.

The First 24 Hours
Mild swelling, redness and sometimes a small bruise. Cool compresses, no exercise, alcohol or heat, and do not press the nose.

Days 2 Through 7
Swelling peaks on day two and settles over the week. Keep glasses off the bridge, skip face-down pillows, and call us for pale, dusky or unusually painful skin.

Week 2: Your True Result
The filler has settled and swelling is gone. This is the profile to judge, and when Dr. Olivia adds a drop more if needed.

Months 9 to 18: Maintenance
The nose barely moves, so filler lasts longer here than in the lips. Most patients return at 9 to 18 months.
Safety: a 2023 systematic review of non-surgical rhinoplasty shows why the nose needs caution. Its vessels connect to the eye, so filler in a vessel can, rarely, damage skin or vision. Dr. Olivia uses tiny amounts, aspirates, and keeps hyaluronidase on hand. Call us for sudden pain or pale skin; go to the ER for any vision change.
Cherry Payment Plans
Financing made easy through Cherry: instant approval, no hard credit check, and 0% APR options on qualifying plans.
Patients can get pre-approved for a Cherry payment plan, which can be used for any of our services. Terms are 3-24 months.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I reshape my nose with fillers?
Within limits, yes. Filler can straighten the bridge by filling around a bump, lift a drooping tip, build a flat bridge and even out mild asymmetry. It cannot make the nose smaller or change the nostrils; those are surgical. Dr. Olivia will tell you which your goal is.
Is filler in the nose risky?
It carries more risk than most filler areas. The nose’s arteries connect to the eye, so filler in a vessel can, rarely, damage skin or vision. We use tiny amounts, aspiration, a cannula where possible, and keep hyaluronidase on hand. Expect swelling and maybe a small bruise.
How long do fillers last in your nose?
Usually 9 to 18 months, longer than lip filler, because the nose barely moves and firm gels break down slowly there. A systematic review found results typically hold around a year. Most patients return about once a year.
Is a liquid nose job worth it?
For the right goal, yes: a bump disappears in one 30-minute visit with no surgery, splint or weeks of recovery. It is not worth it if you want a smaller nose, or would repeat it for decades when surgery would settle it. We give you that honest read.
What is a 15 minute nose job?
Another name for nose filler. Once you are numb and marked, the injections take about 15 minutes, which is where the name comes from. Your full Coastal visit is closer to 45 minutes, because we photograph, evaluate and mark first.
Can I get a nose job without surgery?
Yes, if the issue is a bump, a drooping tip, a flat bridge or mild asymmetry. Nose filler straightens the profile or lifts the tip in one visit, and it is reversible. For a smaller nose or breathing problems, surgical rhinoplasty is the right option.
