Botox Brow Lift in Jacksonville, FL

Heavy brows, hooded lids, and a resting face that reads as tired or annoyed when you feel neither. You catch yourself raising your eyebrows to open your eyes, and eyeliner disappears under the fold by lunch.

Our Botox brow lift in Jacksonville, FL is a 10 to 20 minute, non-surgical eyebrow lift: a few precise units relax the muscles pulling your brows down so the forehead can lift them. Dr. Olivia lifts the tail of the brow and opens the eye without the frozen forehead or the surprised “Spock” arch.

Lifts heavy, low brows Opens hooded eyes Softens a tired or stern look Smooths 11s and crow’s feet too No surgery, no downtime Results in 3 to 7 days Lasts 3 to 4 months

What Is a Botox Brow Lift (and Why Brows Drop)

A Botox brow lift, also called a Botox eyebrow lift or chemical brow lift, uses small doses of a neuromodulator to change the tug-of-war around your eyebrows. One muscle, the frontalis across your forehead, pulls the brows up. Three pull them down: the corrugators and procerus between the brows, and the orbicularis oculi ringing each eye. Relax the down-pullers and the brow rises 1 to 3 millimeters on its own. With age, the down-pullers win more often, the brow settles onto the lid, and the eyes start to look hooded.

What a Botox brow lift fixes:

  • Brows that sit low and flat, especially at the outer tail
  • Upper lids that look heavy or hooded because the brow is resting on them
  • A resting expression that reads as tired, sad, or angry
  • The habit of raising your forehead to see, which deepens forehead lines

Botox for Hooded Eyes and Droopy Eyelids

If the hooding comes from a low brow, lifting the brow uncovers the lid and the eye looks bigger and brighter. If it comes from true eyelid skin excess or a weak lid muscle (ptosis), Botox will not fix it, and we will tell you that honestly rather than treat it.

How a Botox Brow Lift Works

The lift is all about balance. Dr. Olivia places tiny amounts of Botox, Dysport, or Letybo into the muscles that pull the brow down and, for most patients, a lighter dose across the forehead so lines soften without switching off the lifting muscle. Nothing is added or filled; the position of your brow simply changes. Because a brow lift does not add volume, deep hollows at the temple or under the brow are a job for dermal filler, not more units.

Two Ways We Lift the Brow

Option 1

Lateral (Tail) Lift

A few units placed at the outer edge of the orbicularis oculi, just below the tail of the brow. The right call when the outer brow droops and the eyes look hooded at the corners.

  • Mild to moderate outer-brow descent
  • Typically 4 to 6 units per side
  • Opens the eye; pairs naturally with crow’s feet treatment
Option 2

Full Brow Rebalance

The 11s and procerus between the brows plus the outer tail, with a conservative forehead dose so the lift and the line-smoothing work together.

  • Heavy, furrowed brows and a stern resting look
  • Usually 8 to 20 units total for the lift, plus forehead lines if treated
  • Avoids the flattened or over-arched look

The forehead dose is where brow lifts go wrong. Too much Botox in the frontalis switches off the only lifting muscle and the brow drops instead of rising. Dr. Olivia doses the forehead lightly and low-avoidant on purpose, then fine-tunes at your two-week check.

Why Jacksonville Chooses Coastal for a Botox Brow Lift

A brow lift is a handful of units placed within millimeters of muscles that can drop your lid or spike your brow if they are missed. The difference between a lifted, rested look and a heavy or surprised one is who maps the muscles, and how conservatively they dose.

What makes Coastal different

  • A nurse practitioner injects, not a technician. Dr. Olivia, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, with a pharmacology background and a full-face, anatomy-first approach
  • Your brow, mapped in motion. We watch you frown, squint, and raise before marking a single point, so the dose matches your muscle strength, not a chart
  • Conservative by design. Lift first, forehead lightly, then a free two-week check to add a unit or two rather than take it too far the first time
  • Three products, one honest recommendation. Botox, Dysport, and Letybo in stock, chosen for your face and your history
  • 5-star rated on Google by Jacksonville patients, with Cherry payment plans and a same-day return to your life
A free consultation at Coastal Health & Medical Spa in Jacksonville, where every Botox brow lift starts with a full-face evaluation with Dr. Olivia

Every new patient starts with a full-face evaluation. If your heavy lids are really excess eyelid skin or a descended brow that needs surgery, we will say so and point you to the right specialist instead of selling you units that cannot lift it.

Who a Botox Brow Lift Is For

Most of our brow lift patients are women and men from their late twenties to their fifties with mild to moderate brow descent who want an open, rested eye without surgery. If any of these sound familiar, this is for you.

Sound familiar?

  • “People keep asking if I am tired or upset.”
  • “My eyeliner and shadow vanish under my lid within hours.”
  • “I raise my eyebrows all day just to feel awake.”
  • “I want my eyes to look open, not a different eyebrow shape.”

We will suggest something else if you

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have a neuromuscular condition such as myasthenia gravis, or an allergy to botulinum toxin
  • Have true eyelid ptosis or significant excess lid skin, where blepharoplasty is the right answer
  • Have a deeply descended brow with heavy forehead laxity, where a surgical brow lift would serve you better

Not sure where you land? Dr. Olivia will give you a clear yes, a specific alternative, or an honest “not yet.”

What to Expect at Your Botox Brow Lift Appointment

About 20 to 30 minutes from arrival to walk-out; the injections themselves take 10 minutes or less.

Before Your Session

We photograph your brows at rest and in motion, mark the injection points, and clean the skin. No numbing is needed. Skip blood thinners, fish oil, and alcohol for a few days beforehand to limit bruising.

2

During Your Session

Dr. Olivia places 4 to 10 tiny injections per side with an ultra-fine needle. Each feels like a quick pinch. You can talk, and you can drive yourself home.

Immediately After

Tiny bumps at the injection sites fade within 20 minutes. Stay upright for four hours, skip the gym for the day, and do not rub the area. Nothing to hide; go back to your day.

Most brow lifts use 8 to 20 units in total, 4 to 10 per side, plus whatever the forehead and 11s need if we treat them in the same visit. Have an event coming up? Book two to three weeks beforehand so the full lift has settled.

Results Timeline After a Botox Brow Lift

There is no recovery to speak of, just a predictable ramp-up as the product takes effect.

A patient reviewing aftercare instructions with a Coastal Health & Medical Spa team member on the day of her Botox brow lift in Jacksonville

The first 24 hours

A few small bumps and maybe a pinpoint bruise. Stay upright for four hours, skip exercise, alcohol, and saunas, and do not massage your forehead or brows. Makeup is fine after a few hours.

Days 3 through 7

The lift starts to show, Dysport a day or two sooner than Botox or Letybo. The brow feels lighter and the eye begins to open. Some patients notice one side before the other; that evens out.

Week 2: your true result

Full effect. This is the brow to judge, and when Dr. Olivia adds a unit or two at your free check if a tail sits low or one brow lifts more than the other.

Months 3 to 4: maintenance

Movement gradually returns and the brow settles back. Most patients rebook every 3 to 4 months, and many find the lift holds a little longer with each consistent treatment.

Side effects and safety: the American Society of Plastic Surgeons describes the Botox brow lift as a nonsurgical technique that subtly elevates the brows by relaxing the depressor muscles, with mild bruising, redness, or a short headache as the usual side effects. The two things patients search for, a “Spock brow” that arches too high and a heavy brow or lid droop, are dosing errors: the first from an untreated outer forehead, the second from too much product in the frontalis or near the lid. Both are temporary, and both are avoidable with careful mapping. Call us if a brow looks uneven at two weeks; a small adjustment fixes it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Botox actually lift eyebrows?

Yes, by a small but visible amount. Relaxing the muscles that pull the brow down lets the forehead muscle raise it, typically 1 to 3 millimeters. That is enough to lift the tail of the brow, uncover a hooded lid, and make the eyes look more open and awake, but it is not a substitute for a surgical brow lift when the brow has descended significantly.

How long does Botox brow lift last?

About 3 to 4 months, the same as Botox anywhere else on the face. The lift appears in 3 to 7 days, peaks at two weeks, and fades gradually as muscle movement returns. Patients who maintain it on a regular schedule often find it lasts a little longer over time.

Can Botox raise eyebrows for hooded eyes?

If the hooding is caused by a low brow resting on the lid, yes: lifting the brow pulls the fold up and off the eye. If it is caused by excess eyelid skin or a weak eyelid muscle, Botox cannot lift it and eyelid surgery is the right treatment. Dr. Olivia checks which one you have at your evaluation.

Is a brow lift with Botox worth it?

For mild to moderate brow heaviness, most patients say yes. It takes about 15 minutes, has no downtime, is reversible with time, and usually gets bundled into the same visit as forehead lines and 11s, so the added cost in units is small. It is not worth it if your brow has dropped enough that only surgery will move it, which we will tell you upfront.

Can Botox lift a sagging eyebrow?

A mildly sagging brow, yes, especially the outer third. A brow that has descended heavily with loose forehead skin needs a surgical lift. One important exception: a brow or lid that is sagging because of a previous Botox treatment is a dosing problem, not a candidate for more units, and it resolves as that treatment wears off.

Which is better, blepharoplasty or brow lift?

They treat different things. Blepharoplasty removes excess eyelid skin; a brow lift, surgical or with Botox, raises the brow that is pushing the lid down. Many people with “hooded eyes” actually have a low brow, and a Botox brow lift is the simplest way to find out how much of the hooding it solves before considering surgery.

I recently booked an appointment with Dr. Olivia to discuss changes that I’ve noticed in my face due to weight loss and beginning stages of aging. I had no idea which treatment would suit my needs but I told her all about my concerns and she patiently listened and made excellent and reasonable suggestions. She really knows her stuff! She spent time telling me all of my options without pressuring me but also giving her honest opinions about what should be most suitable. I ultimately received Sculptra and Botox and picked up some Homecare products to help at home and will be back in a few weeks for a follow up and second round of Sculptra. I appreciated that she told me everything to expect over the few days post treatment and how to care for my face afterwards for optimal results. I’m so in love with the results so far and can’t wait to see what my second round does.

Danielle gave me an amazing facial! This was my very first facial experience and I could not recommend Coastal Health or Danielle more! I got a mama glow facial for my Mother’s Day gift and it was actually heavenly. Danielle was so friendly and sweet, super personable, it felt like a friend was doing my facial! The facial was so relaxing and my skin has never felt smoother or glowed more! I had full body chills multiple times during it. I hope to come back for a hydrafacial after baby is here. Definitely go see Danielle!!
