About 30 to 45 minutes from arrival to walk-out; the injections themselves take 15 to 20.
Before Your Session
We photograph your profile from both sides, mark the jaw angle, the edge of the bone, and the chin, then apply numbing cream. Skip blood thinners, fish oil, and alcohol for a few days beforehand to limit bruising.
During Your Session
Dr. Olivia places the filler deep along the bone with a fine needle or a blunt cannula, checking the line from the front and the side as she goes. The filler contains lidocaine, so most patients feel pressure rather than pain.
Immediately After

Jaw filler has almost no social downtime, but because the area is large and the gel is firm, it takes a little longer to settle than lips or smile lines.
The first 24 hours
Swelling, tenderness, and maybe a small bruise along the jaw. Cool compresses help. Skip exercise, alcohol, and heat, sleep on your back, and avoid pressing on the area.
Days 2 through 7
Swelling peaks around day two and fades over the week. The jaw can feel firm or slightly lumpy to the touch; that is the gel integrating, and it softens on its own. No massaging, no dental work, and no tight chin straps. Makeup is fine after 24 hours.
Week 2: your true result
